Use of cookies
Our websites use "cookies." These are small text files that are stored on your device either temporarily for the duration of a session (session cookies) or permanently (permanent cookies). They do not cause any damage to your device. Session cookies are automatically deleted after your visit. Permanent cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them yourself or until they are automatically deleted by your web browser.

Many cookies are technically necessary, as certain websites would not function or would only function to a limited extent without them (e.g., the shopping cart function or the display of videos). Other cookies are used to evaluate user behavior or display advertising.
Third-party cookies may also be stored on your device when you visit our site. These enable us or you to use certain services provided by the third-party company (e.g., cookies for processing payment services).
Cookies that are required to carry out electronic communication (necessary cookies) or to provide certain functions you have requested (functional cookies, e.g., for the shopping cart function) or to optimize the website (e.g., cookies to measure visitor behavior) are stored on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR, unless another legal basis is specified. The website operator has a legitimate interest in storing cookies to ensure the technically error-free and optimized provision of its services. If consent to the storage of cookies has been requested, the cookies in question will be stored exclusively on the basis of this consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR); this consent can be revoked at any time.

If you contact us by email, telephone, or fax, your inquiry, including all personal data resulting from it (name, inquiry), will be saved and processed by us for the purpose of processing your request. We will not disclose this data without your consent.
This data is processed on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, provided your inquiry is related to the fulfillment of a contract or is necessary to carry out pre-contractual measures. In all other cases, the processing is based on our legitimate interest in the effective processing of the inquiries addressed to us (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR), if requested.
The data you enter or otherwise transmit will remain with us until you request its deletion, revoke your consent to storage, or the purpose for storing the data no longer applies (e.g., after your request has been processed). Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.
Registration on this website
You can register on this website to use additional features of the site. We will use the data you enter for this purpose only for the purpose of using the respective offer or service for which you have registered. The mandatory information requested during registration must be provided completely and correctly. Otherwise, we will reject your registration.
For important changes, such as changes to the scope of services or technically necessary changes, we will use the email address you provided during registration to inform you.
The data entered during registration is processed for the purpose of implementing the user relationship established by the registration and, if necessary, for initiating further contracts (Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR).
The data collected during registration will be stored by us for as long as you are registered on this website and will then be deleted. Statutory retention periods remain unaffected.
Comment function on this website
For the comment function on this page, in addition to your comment, the time of creation of the comment, your email address, and your IP address will be stored. We need this data to be able to take action against the author in the event of legal violations such as insults or propaganda. Your comments and the associated data will be stored and remain on this website until the commented content has been completely deleted or the comments must be deleted for legal reasons (e.g., offensive comments).
Comments are stored based on your consent (Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR). You can revoke your consent at any time. An informal email to us is sufficient. The legality of the data processing operations already carried out remains unaffected by the revocation.
Contract processing (e.g., ordering, payment, shipping, contacting us)
Personal data is only collected if you voluntarily provide it to us when opening a customer account or when ordering goods. All data entered by customers during order processing is stored. This includes: last name, first name, addresses (billing and delivery address), payment method, email address, telephone number, and date of birth.
This is done on the basis of Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR, which permits the processing of data to fulfill a contract or for pre-contractual measures.
We use the data you provide without your separate consent exclusively to fulfill and process your order. The data contained in the contract is stored and processed for accounting purposes and customer records, and is used to fulfill legal obligations, process payments, for delivery purposes, and for any customer questions and/or complaints. Only the data that is absolutely necessary for delivery or order processing will be passed on to third-party service providers:
Your data will be passed on, for example, to our service providers for the purpose of order, payment, and shipping notification or processing.
Depending on the selected payment method, we will pass on the data necessary for processing the payment transaction to our payment service providers or to commissioned credit institutions, insofar as this is necessary to process the payment. This serves to fulfill the contract in accordance with Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR. Payment service providers sometimes collect the data required to process the payment themselves, e.g., on their own website or via a technical integration in the ordering process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies in this regard.
Under no circumstances will the collected data be sold or passed on to third parties for other reasons. Verival Bio GmbH's contractual partners are instructed regarding the applicable data protection regulations and are accordingly obligated to do so. As soon as the retention of your data is no longer necessary or legally required, such as after the expiration of retention periods under tax and commercial law, it will be deleted.
